Fancy dress (not just for Halloween)

Fancy dress retailer Escapade wanted to increase sales during traditionally void periods for their industry. In short, Halloween looked after itself while the rest of the year was ‘hit and miss’. Consumer King created a content programme to harness each month of the year: Film and TV, stag and hen weekends, World Book Day, topical news stories, celebrity fads, music festivals and Christmas.

The outcome

Our content creation helped build a multi-channel marketing legacy for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram which Escapade utilise to this day. We also secured national media coverage on Escapade’s behalf, incorporating both their own media blog and video embed within the article which appeared in The Sun and Mirror Online receiving 6,000 shares.
