Based next to Harley Street in London, The Wimpole Clinic is one of the UK’s oldest hair transplant surgeries. Consumer King were asked to gain national media exposure on behalf of The Wimpole Clinic and founder Dr Michael May, at a time hair restoration lost its taboo.

Healthy food, healthy hair

We created a ‘healthy food, healthy hair’ campaign promoting the clinic’s trichologists and nutritionist teams – coverage was gained in a range of national newspapers and included video embeds and URL links for online editions.

Further campaigns were delivered for eyebrow enhancement featuring Cara Delevingne, beard enhancement featuring David Beckham and hair transplantation featuring Wayne Rooney.

The outcome

The Wimpole Clinic received a 700 per cent spike in enquiries during the weeks articles were published. The clinic has utilised our PR campaigns for the benefit of new and prospective clients. The company’s ranking on Google and other search engines also advanced for keyword phrases which were integrated with the coverage generated.
